"Pieces are what make us whole." - Lea and Jun

Background
We created this piece by combining precision woodworking with intricate, flowing linework, letting the geometry emerge naturally through collaboration. The process was a conversation between structure and movement, where every cut and etched line reflected both of our creative voices in harmony.
Process
We started by selecting a solid piece of wood and carefully cutting it into a faceted geometric form, ensuring each angle caught the light in a distinct way. Lea then designed and etched the delicate network of red lines, mapping them across the surfaces to create a sense of flow and connection.
The Self
To us, the cracks represent the moments in life where things feel broken, yet still carry the potential to connect and transform. By joining them into a unified form, we wanted to show that wholeness isn’t about perfection—it’s about the beauty that emerges when all the fractured pieces come together.
